Dunedin is fast becoming the street art capital of New Zealand, boasting some incredible pieces commissioned from both international and local artists. A lot of the work has been concentrated on previously rundown spaces in the old commercial hub of the city, in an effort to revive and beautify the area.
You may need to venture down the odd alleyway, but most of the work is clearly visible from the street. The biggest concentration of work is in the Vogel St area (15-20 min walk from venue), where you will find many restored heritage buildings and one of Dunedin’s favourite cafes.
|Added extras:||As well as finding the mapped out artworks, there will be a competition for trip participants to crack the clues to find some extra artworks and go in the draw to win a great prize.|
