FT07: University-Railway Station hop-on hop-off bus

If you love architecture, this tour is for you. Jump aboard a heritage Dunedin bus and visit the gothic styled university clock tower and environs, and the beautiful Flemish Renaissance-styled bluestone railway station.

Construction was begun on the University clocktower complex in 1878, and there are several impressive buildings to photograph within a short distance.  It will be term time, so you might even get the opportunity of some “interesting” street photography.

The Railway Station, with its ornate facade and stunning mosaic floor, is reputedly the 2nd most photographed building in the Southern Hemisphere.  Victorian-dressed ladies will be available at the railway station for portraits
