For those who would like to stay close to base but still want to have fun with their camera then we have just the thing.
One advantage of running the Convention in a school is that we can use as many classrooms as we like. So we are planning to setup a number of fun activities and to run a “round robin” photoshoot. You will have an hour on each activity and will be guided by enthusiastic photographers who have played with these toys before. They will make suggestions and try to help you avoid pitfalls but I’m betting that all of you will bring a different take to each shoot.
We are building a repertoire of activities and we can add ideas right up to the last minute so you won’t be short of activities to try; Macro oil and water mixing, flowers on lightboxes, high speed flash and more! This will be a very hands-on workshop, using your camera and capturing images!
You will feel that you are just getting started when, after an hour, the bell will ring (remember that sound?) and you will be off to the next classroom full of fun and learning.
