We have a couple of great options for the early birds.
The plan with these trips is that you will be up and away in the dark and arriving at the destination with time to set up before the sun shows up. But then, with some stunning images locked away in your memory cards, we will head back to base in time for you to grab a quick breakfast before Julieanne Kost’s photoshop workshop begins.
A busy morning with options galore…
Depending on numbers we plan to go to either the New Brighton Pier or to Taylors Mistake, or perhaps both if there plenty of early start enthusiasts.
At the pier you will be in the perfect spot to photograph the contrast between the architectural concrete structure and the silky water of the advancing tide, all highlighted by the sun rising on the distant horizon.
The small beach at Taylors Mistake is just over the hill from Christchurch’s eastern most suburb, Sumner, and just short of Godley Head which will be visited later in the weekend. Early morning is by far the best time to visit and the effort needed to get up will be well justified for this natural scenery
When you select this workshop please indicate your destination preference but be aware that both may not run.
This trip will return to the venue in time for Julieanne Kost’s Photoshop workshop
